Printing to FedEx Kinkos

Those of you who do not have access to print or wish not to use up all your ink and paper at home, you can print lectures and the skills lab workbook to FedEx Kinkos.

http://www.fedex.com/us/officeprint/main/index.html

Download the document make changes that you want and save the file(s) to your computer. Go to the FedEx Kinko's website and go to "ONLINE SERVICES". Select "PRINT TO FEDEX KINKO'S" and from the options that pop up from there, select "PRINT ONLINE". Select "START A NEW PRINT JOB" and then select the file that you want to upload (select "browse" to locate your files). Select "ADD FILE TO JOB LIST". You must do this for EACH file one at a time. Once the file(s) have uploaded, then select the "SET PRINT OPTIONS" ... here is where you can select black and white or color, single or double sided, stapled or three hole punched etc. You then "SUBMIT JOBS" and then it will go to a check out process. Here is where you will select what Kinko's you would like your print job to be sent to for pick up. Follow the prompts and instructions and you should be good to go!!!

Hope this helps those of you who are having difficulties printing.

Great idea Melissa! A big problem that people are having with downloading the slides --from talking to other students, and experiencing it myself-- is that they don't have PowerPoint on their computers... If you do not have PowerPoint on your computer you will only be able to print 1 slide per page (you can only print multiple slides on a page if you have the "Full Version" of PowerPoint installed on your computer). This multiple-slide printing option is disabled on computers without PowerPoint on them because Microsoft wants you to buy the "Full Version." Melissa's idea sounds great and saves around $75.00 (which is what it costs to get the oldest version of PowerPoint 2003 on Amazon)! Another option is if you know someone who has PowerPoint on their computer, ask if you could borrow their "backup" disc that came with their computer software so that you could download it onto yours (its free, and won't affect borrower or loaner in any way at all)...

Hope this helps,
Steve

Hi There,
I am a second semester student and was able to print all of the slides with 6 slides per page and I do not have power point. I went to the power point website and downloaded the free viewer and this gave me every thing I needed except the option of preparing a PP presentation

try this link, this download also allows you to print with many options. HAPPY PRINTING :)

Sorry, I tried to post this message with a "live" link, but I cannot figure out how to do it. But if you just copy it and paste it into your browser it will take you right where you need to go to get the free download to print the lecture slides with all the print options.
